What the passport shows — and what it does not.

It shows your verified identity, contact and demographic details, your eligibility profile, uploaded documents you have chosen to share, and a ledger of your study participation history across participating organisations.

What the passport shows

It never shows another volunteer's data, clinical source records held by a site, or any medical diagnosis. It also does not decide whether you can join a study — that is always the investigator's decision.

What the passport does not do

By default, only you. A CRO or site sees identity, documents or eligibility details only after you explicitly consent to a specific application. You can review or revoke that access at any time.

Yes. Every consent you grant is scoped, time-limited and revocable from your consent centre. Once revoked, the organisation loses access to the shared fields, and the revocation itself is recorded in your audit trail.

Yes. You can request erasure of your passport data from within the app. We will delete your profile, documents, consents and participation records while keeping a minimal audit trail required by law.

Data removal

Creating a passport is free. Subscription plans (₹500 for 3 months, ₹1,000 for a year, ₹3,000 lifetime) unlock advanced visibility and sharing features. You choose whether to upgrade, and there are no usage-metered charges.

Only de-identified eligibility signals — for example, whether an anonymous profile matches your study's inclusion/exclusion criteria and the elapsed-days interval since their last recorded dosing.

Once a volunteer approves your application request, you can see the identity, documents and profile fields they have explicitly shared for that purpose and time window. Every access is logged.

The passport is not a medical record system. Source clinical records, pathology reports, imaging and investigator notes remain with the originating site. Clinical Study Passport only carries the participation ledger and what the volunteer chooses to share.

What the passport does not do

No. Matching and washout outputs are advisory inputs to your screening process. Final eligibility is determined by your investigator under your SOPs. Clinical Study Passport does not replace any national duplicate-participation registry.

Publish your studies, review anonymised matches, send consent-gated application requests, and track the funnel from view to enrolled — all inside the CRO dashboard.

Recruitment workflow

Basic listing and match previews are free. Volunteer access and sponsor reach are each ₹5,000 for 3 months, ₹10,000 for a year or ₹30,000 lifetime. There are no per-unlock, per-brief or success fees.

Pricing & plans

Their portable passport data is removed from Clinical Study Passport. Clinical source records you hold as the originator remain under your own retention obligations — erasure on Clinical Study Passport does not delete or alter your site records.
